The purpose of the Del Rio Seniors is to promote golf and social activities for Del Rio members who have reached the age of 55. Membership is open to all Del Rio members who have attained that age.
Dues are $40.00 per year and will be pro-rated for members coming in after June of any year.
Del Rio Seniors have several outings each year, which includes Home and Home Tournaments with seniors of other clubs. In addition to the Home and Home Tournaments, we have a Senior Championship, Senior Invitational and a Holiday Tournament to which spouses are invited to join us for lunch. The Guys and Dolls, Lads & Lassies Tournaments (Ladies 18 Hole Group and 9 Tees with Seniors respectively) are other highlights of our year.
Nine members serve as our Board of Directors and are responsible for planning and conducting the events of rthe year. Members are elected for one year terms to the Board and may servce for three consecutive years. They may serve again after one year absence from the Board. The board elects the officers to serve during the year. In the event of a vacancy on the Board, the present Board wmembers will select a member to fill the vacancy.
When you reach the age of 55, we hope that you will contact any of the officers or just contact the Del Rio office and they will see that you are added to our list.
